Current essential storage

The launch site may store pth_consent to remember the privacy-notice choice and pth_theme to remember light or dark appearance. Neither value contains a generated password or tool result.

Advertising cookies

Advertising code is disabled by default in the downloadable build. Before AdSense is activated, the publisher must add the correct client ID and configure a Google-certified consent management platform where required.

Managing storage

Use browser privacy settings to remove site data. Clearing storage may cause the privacy notice to appear again.

No secret storage

Generated passwords, keys, tokens, PINs and recovery-code demonstrations must never be written to cookies or local storage by our tool scripts.

Essential local storage

The interface may use limited browser storage for choices such as color theme or dismissal of an informational notice. These preferences are not passwords and should not contain generated values.

Advertising cookies are not active by default

The downloadable production package leaves advertising disabled. No placeholder publisher identifier is used. Before advertising is activated, the owner must configure the real AdSense account, update the privacy disclosures and deploy a Google-certified consent management platform where required.

How to control storage

Users can clear site data through browser settings, use private browsing or block non-essential storage. Blocking essential preference storage should not prevent the core password generator from working.
